About the Doctor

Dr. Laura E. Harrington, D.C., Director

Dr. Harrington and former NY Giant Hall of Famer Harry Carson

Dr. Harrington completed her undergraduate studies at Hartwick College receiving a Bachelor degree in Biology before earning her Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls in 1999.

In striving for excellence to improve and constantly update her knowledge, Dr. Harrington regularly attends postgraduate classes. She recieved the Distingusihed Fellow of Chiropractic Biomechanics of Posture. She has completed postgraduate courses in whiplash case management, Cox flexion-distraction technique, chiropractic and pregnancy, nutrition and natural medicine, back pain and golf, musculoskeletal applications of MRI, activator methods, myofascial trigger point therapy and soft tissue pain management. She is certified in flexion-distraction technique, Receptor-Tonus method (a.k.a. Nimmo Technique), and Applied Kinesiology.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Harrington was an instructor at Bryant and Stratton College and the staff chiropractor to the Syracuse Sting professional football team. She was an adjunct technician at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where her research is published in Hormone Research.

Dr. Harrington believes in restoring patients to their optimal health in the shortest possible period of time. Her love of chiropractic and genuine concern for others are two qualities that impress those who know her well.

About the Staff

Sally LaBrake, Office Manager

Sally has worked with our office for over two years. She has managed the office for the past year. She is charge of staff training and insurance billing.

Cheryl Sardina, Chiropractic Assistant

 

Cheryl has worked with our office since last summer. She does a fanatastic job at the front desk.

Caitlin Collins, Chiropractic Assistant

Caitlin has worked at the front desk since last summer. She is also going to college.

Pepper, Greeter

Pepper is a minature schnauzer who was born September 2006. He has been at the office since spring 2007. He finds his job exhausting and you will find him sleeping in his bed more often than greeting.
